Heard a few songs on NPR, they were mellow but pretty good.

heh. FemDerris is going to Chicago this weekend and was bitching about having to dig into her winter clothes again. She's had them put away for over a month now.

I feel like summer got here early this year. It was 90 yesterday. Have y'all even had pollen season yet?

Yes, pollen season is here, but it's way different than Georgia. I've found that moving out here, what I'm allergic to changed or the severity of it has lessened. I'll admit, I don't miss waking up to a yellow car every morning like in the days of yore. ;) We're just getting into the upper 70s here right now. It's been a long cold winter.

Isn't Georgia one of the worst places for pollen in the country? Supposedly it's so bad that even if you aren't allergic to it, if you stay here long enough you eventually will be.

Good point. Still, low 50's/high 40's at night is hardly tank top and skirt weather.

Then again these girls will probably forsake comfort for fashion anyway.

Also, we live in The South. High 60s is comfortable if you have pants and a sweater...

This was really great. Still mulling it over afterwards. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Agreed. Without giving anything away, what is art and who defines it?

Once I was on a train held up by a suicide. There just happened to be a group of train drivers sitting across the aisle from me and they got talking about suicides and I eavesdropped into the conversation.

Far from being mentally scared by something like that happening they were joking, laughing and comparing 'fighter ace scores'.

The oldest one, who looked to be near retirement age (perhaps early 60's) and could be assumed to have driven trains for 40+ years put the rest in the shade with his score of 12.
