Yes - I do it at my house and my office.

I don't like the fridge with the filter we looked at, and those pur things are OK, but I hate sink attachments in general.

(And by all that I mean, the wife wanted Crystal Springs, so we got Crystal Springs)

nah. but there are more women on my floor than men, yet they have never, ever even attempted to change one.

they will complain that the paper towels are getting low though.

It requires strength and quickness, so whether it's a man or woman, they MUST possess these qualities to successfully accomplish the cooler switch

and when you're all through singing Happy Birthday and eating ice cream and cake...?

Actually, back 15 years ago when my youngest was three, we did one of those "everyone into the conference room" gatherings to sing Happy Birthday to our Boss. When the song ended I spontaneously clapped my palms together and did the high-pitched "YAY!" like it was for a kid. Man, I never lived that down...

Water cooler is for the lazy sorts who are feckless and contribute little except idle chat with their fellow types.

Take a water bottle if you have medical issues but elsewise do your paid work - lunch hour is the appropriate time for meals and quenching.

As for water carrying that is discourteous for a man to stand aside and watch a woman lift heavy things. What dishonor is normal in these days, it makes me very sad.

At work, its generally the men who do it simply because most of the women wear heels. Add to it that the cooler is on one level, while the stock of water is down a flight of stair, around a corner, and through some doors. Its a hike. There is one very saucy women though, who goes and gets it--in heels. Its a sight.
