You know, kinda how "Baby You're a Rich Man" was supposedly about Brian Epstein taking cash from the Beatles. And, um... that's the only one that I can think of now, but I know that there are others out there. What are they?
Just to help me with my brain fart, I would appreciate some help.
Thanks!

No!
This was inspired by a guy over at IAC who feels like he got screwed over by them, and wrote a song about it.

"No No No" by Warrior Soul

They said you couldn`t break away
The liars they can`t stop you
They say that you are just a pain
So what man you inspire
And then the world comes crashin` down
And you`re the toughest thing around
How many times they gonna count you out
And baby you don`t care
They said no-one loves you
So what
And you`re goin` somewhere
So let`s go

No no no - you`re not real
No no no - you`re a drag
No no no - no appeal
No no no - come on man

We want more everything

Come on and take a piece of me
If ya got the guts to take it
I don`t get anything for free
Except the piss I`m drinkin`
And when they cuddle up on you
And promise everything you`re screed
How many times they gonna rip you off

And man nobody cares
They said no-one loves you
So what
But you`re goin` somewhere
So let`s go

No no no - we can taste it
No no no - we get it all
No no no - you`re degraded
No no no - we`re havin` a ball

You live in the city
You live for fun
You look so pretty
But you`re no-one
We live like we`re goin` crazy
In a backstage sewer hole
Don`t care man, I`m not bitchin`
Just livin` like rock - n - roll
Let`s go out in the city and trash it
Like we`re gonna die
Maybe we`ll get arrested
The publicity is outta sight

No no no - you`re not real
No no no - you`re a drag
No no no - no appeal
No no no - come on man
No no no - no more religion
No no no - no more school
No no no - no more rejection
No no no - no more screw
No no no

John Fogerty -- Zantz Kant Danz.

About Saul Zaentz, his boss at Fantasy Records (I think). Fogerty was sued over the song.

Oh yeah!!!
"The Compromise" by The Format
Quote:
You, you think its cool to be crazy,
I say "you're born rich? stay rich."
There's no point in taking chances.

And me, I wouldn't call it a sophomore slump
No, I'd say I’m one step closer to bein' just where I want to be.

Away from this scene,
Away from this machine
Alright!

So meet me in the middle
well, come on, let's make up a dance
and we'll agree to call it the compromise.

Step one:
Find a partner, grab a pen
and don't you dare ask questions just sign on the dotted line.

Step two:
Throw your partner behind a desk
where they'll do absolutely nothing
so it's your job to dance and smile
the whole time.

Well, don't call it a trend,
'cause it's the only way we think to get ahead.

So meet me in the middle
well, come on, let's make up a dance
and we'll agree to call it the compromise.

There's no sense in complaining.
If it doesn't change our minds.
Well, take me by the hand let's compromise.

I can feel your feet touching mine.
If you can't dance, there's someone else in line!

So meet me in the middle
well, come on, let's make up a dance
and we'll agree to call it the compromise.

There's no sense in complaining.
If it doesn't change our minds.
Well, take me by the hand let's compromise!

the best one ever is Cracker "It Ain't Gonna Suck Itself"

well, and Cocksucker's Blues by The Rolling Stones qualifies, as they gave ABCKO an unreleasable final single to say "fuck you" for taking all of their money. Allen Klein is still chuckling in hell over that episode.

There's unlimited supply
And there is no reason why
I tell you it was all a frame
They only did it 'cos of fame
Who?

E.M.I. E.M.I. E.M.I.

Too many people had the suss
Too many people support us
An unlimited amount
Too many outlets in and out
Who?

E.M.I E.M.I E.M.I

And sir and friends are crucified
A day they wished that we had died
We are an addition
We are ruled by none
Never ever never

And you thought that we were faking
That we were all just money making
You do not believe we're for real
Or you would lose your cheap appeal?

Don't judge a book just by the cover
Unless you cover just another
And blind acceptance is a sign
Of stupid fools who stand in line
Like

E.M.I E.M.I E.M.I

Unlimited edition
With an unlimited supply
That was the only reason
We all had to say goodbye

Unlimited supply (E.M.I)
There is no reason why (E.M.I)
I tell you it was all a frame (E.M.I)
They only did it 'cos of fame (E.M.I)
I do not need the pressure (E.M.I)
I can't stand those useless fools (E.M.I)
Unlimited supply (E.M.I)
Hello E.M.I
Goodbye

Thought these would be the obvious choices...

Kinks - "Powerman"

I know a man, he's a powerful man
He's got the people in his power
In the palm of his hand.
He started at the bottom and he worked his way up
Now he's never going to stop
Until he reaches the top.
It's the same old story, it's the same old dream,
It's power man, power man, and all that it can bring.
If you want your money, you better stand in the line
'Cos you'll only end up picking up nickels and dimes.
You call him names and he sits and grins
'Cos everybody else is just a sucker to him.
And he's got my money, but I've got my faith
And powerman, powerman, I'll never be your slave.
It's the same old story, it's the same old game
It's power man, power man, driving me insane
People tried to conquer the world Napoleon and Genghis Khan
Hitler tried and Mussolini too
Powerman don't need to fight, powerman don't need no guns
Powerman got money on his side
Well I'm not rich and I'm not free
But I've got my girl and she got me
He's got my money and my publishing rights
But I've got my girl and I'm alright
And she got me going, and she keeps me sane
But powerman, powerman, got money on the brain
It's the same old story it's the same old game
Powerman, powerman driving me insane

and "The Money-Go-Round"

Robert owes half to Grenville
Who in turn gave half to Larry
Who adored my instrumentals
And so he gave half to a foreign publisher
She took half the money that was earned in some far distant land
Gave back half to Larry and I end up with half of goodness knows what
Oh can somebody explain why things go on this way
I thought they were my friends I can't believe it's me, I can't believe that I'm so green
Eyes down round and round let's all sit and watch the moneygoround
Everyone take a little bit here and a little bit there
Do they all deserve money from a song that they've never heard
They don't know the tune and they don't know the words
But they don't give a damn
There's no end to it I'm in a pit and I'm stuck in it
The money goes round and around and around
And it comes out here when they've all taken their share
I went to see a solicitor and my story was heard and the writs were served
On the verge of a nervous breakdown I decided to fight right to the end
But if I ever get my money I'll be too old and grey to spend it
Oh, but life goes on and on and no one ever wins
And time goes quickly by just like the moneygoround
I only hope that I'll survive

"Moving On" by Sixpence None the Richer, after their bad experience with R.E.X. Records. (Oddly, they'd "move on" to have a bad experience with Squint Records... though no song was ever written about that.)

It has gotten to my head. Permeates the path I tread.
But I tread, I'm moving on in a new and happy song.
I can sing about the night, how my tunnel without light
Led me to the other side where the sky is blue.

It's all I can do to not let them ruin me.
I will not let them ruin me.
I will not let them ruin me again.

There is fire inside the tree. Flames of knowing kissing me.
I have waited long to see a sign from you.

It's all I can do to not let them ruin me.
I will not let them ruin me.
I will not let them ruin me again.

J-Live raps about this all the time, I think Car Trouble is one of the better examples.

Not as song, but I think this qualifies. I mean changing your name to symbol because you're pissed at your label is pretty extreme.

Tom Petty's The Last DJ

Well you can't turn him into a company man
You can't turn him into a whore
And the boys upstairs just don't understand anymore
Well the top brass don't like him talking so much
And he won't play what they say to play
And he don't want to change what don't need to change
And there goes the last DJ
Who plays what he wants to play
And says what he wants to say
Hey, hey, hey
And there goes your freedom of choice
There goes the last human voice
There goes the last DJ
Well some folks say they're gonna hang him so high
Because you just can't do what he did
There's some things you just can't put in the minds of those kids
As we celebrate mediocrity all the boys upstairs want to see
How much you'll pay for what you used to get for free
And there goes the last DJ
Who plays what he wants to play
And says what he wants to say
Hey, hey, hey
And there goes your freedom of choice
There goes the last human voice
And there goes the last DJ

[Instrumental break]

Well he got him a station down in Mexico
And sometimes it will kinda come in
And I'll bust a move and remember how it was back then
There goes the last DJ
Who plays what he wants to play
And says what he wants to say
Hey, hey, hey
And there goes your freedom of choice
There goes the last human voice
And there goes the last DJ
