Tonight....wine and cheese tasting, followed by drunken shenanigans with some friends or perhaps other plans depending how wine and cheese tasting goes.
Tomorrow...Sleep in, weed my garden then crawfish boil with girl and a bunch of friends.
Sunday...Drive a couple hours to party at secluded lake house, get wasted with a bunch of strippers and shoot guns.
Monday...drive home, recover, lay around the house eating delivery food of some sort, probably take some xanax and crash early.

SAT - Sister in law comes to town, then a bbq with friends.
SUN - ? Enjoy having a third set of hands to entertain the baby I guess.
MON - Tweed Ride. The wife organized this one and last year's, which was Boston's first ever. Last year over a hundred showed up, this year should be even better. But last year it was a week after the baby was born, so she couldn't enjoy it.

Just realized this morning its a 3 dayer.

Saturday -Taking kids out on the boat. Toss anchor at sandbar, float, down some wine, maybe swim if I want to make the effort. Eat something. Go back to land. Poolside, wine, maybe nap. Go home. Go to Crawfish boil at brothers, eat, play guitar. Home, watch movie outdoor screen at neighbors. Sleep.

Sunday - Maybe play some tennis, have Oscar dog take me on a longboard ride. Swim with the kids. Make dinner for the folks.

Monday - we'll see when we get there.

*this is all bullshit - we're just working like one armed paper hangers to get some folks elected.

I'd pass on 2720 Cherokee. Decent venue, but tonight is a Grateful Dead cover band. If you do go, check out the gallery upstairs. I have a couple friends having stuff shown there right now.

BYOB Black Diamond Heavies probably best music in town tonight, place called Evil Prints, 7 bucks and bring a cooler...but I know you do not completely control your destiny.

Iron Barley is always good and the Brew & Q sounds fun. Gotta learn about the St. Louis bar-b-q specialty, pork steaks.

Have fun.

DW - I'm going to the venues (2720/Old Rock House) because they are accounts of mine and I've never met the talent buyers (except one that is now with 2720 that used to own Lucas School House), and well, I like the Dead so the prospect of seeing Jake's Leg isn't too bad after some booze and smoke.

Maybe I'll run into you at some point. I'll look for the bald guy with a stripper on his arm and you can look for the GARgantuan guy flanked by two sisters.

Tonight: Chaos In Tejas, night 2. Tonight's highlight being The Marked Men. Thankfully already had this booked or the gal would've dragged me to "SATC2" (Bud Dwyer motion)

Sat: errands in the day along with some reading and drankin' on a porch somewheres. Then some sketch comedy thing with the gal that should be pretty fun (potentially). Then over to a new-ish club I'm doing a story on.

Sun: This is the biggie. Last night of Chaos In Tejas; the gal singing with a bizarro fratty cover band; then on to a DJ funk night at some loft above a sushi joint downtown

Mon: recover, maybe crawl over to PoD's for some grub. Later, playing innkeeper for a friend of a friend who's in town for a wedding, so I'mma be hospitable and follow her lead.

NBA playoffs will be mixed into all of this as allowed.
