so...looks like his new one is the hard way.
are these his only two albums? can't cipher this from his site.

Believe What I Say (1996)

Kick It Around (2001)

People Gonna Talk (2006)

The Hard Way (2008)

Apparently that first one is worth tracking down. I've never heard it, but it includes a guest appearance by Van Morrison.

Edit: found it

I'll see him again. I thought he put on a great show and it was a different crowd for me. I was the youngest and only one not in a couple there.

I've been listening to the whole Van Morrison oeuvre... almost was going to do a "harry listens to van" thread... what a progression of music, and there still some pockets that can't classified or matched. He'll be listened to 100 years from now.

That's one thread I think I could (and would) participate in.

Let's get through this Stones travesty, and I am certainly willing to participate. Van The Fucking Man!

finally listened to james hunter's people gonna talk.
love it.
what's next?
think i remember radcliffe and/or billy g talking about him.

His follow-up was a huge disappointment. Still waiting to see if he can rebound.

I saw him live a couple of years ago and he played songs from The Hard Way and People Gonna Talk. I thought they mostly stood up next to each other. I'm not going to say the Hard Way is quite as good but I thought it wasn't that far off in quality. I'm guessing when I say that that I both like the Hard Way more than Radcliffe and People Gonna Talk less than he does. I haven't had a big urge to listen to either of them lately but they're both good albums to my ears.
