i assume it's more due to the massive shitfest that is at&t and that as it stands now, it wouldnt be able to handle it. hopefully in a year or so that gets worked out

also would like to see facetime work with video ichat, not just iphone to iphone. but on top of that, i would be more inclined to text someone since i dont want to talk to them, let alone LOOK and talk to them at the same time. so i'm not too excited about this feature

I'm pretty sure I read about a Video Calling app for Android last week. Obviously having the built-in front camera standard on the iPhone makes it more adoptable.

our tech writer thinks there's a lot that's good-great about the EVO but battery life is a MAJOR drawback.

this is an issue as well. as cool as FaceTime is, the person on the other end has to have the same device.

There is a pretty easy solution to this. On ebay you can buy a desktop charger and two extra batteries for like $30. If you know you will be out for a while you just drop an extra battery in your pocket, swap it out as needed. Big advantage over non-removable batteries.

Between that, keep an extra charger at your desk at work and a car charger and you really should not run out.

I am going to wait till July to make my decision, but leaning heavily toward Evo

totally agree! looking at someone to talk? not likely other than phone sex..and even that might be mega weird.
