More and more, I find beer just makes me feel gross. Hard liquor (read: whiskey) makes people hate me.

Nah, nah - not an alcoholic - just wondering what I should drink when I do. If i'm in for an evening of alcoholic consumption, after a certain point beer just fills me up and makes me feel bloated and gross. Light beer tastes like crap. I like Whiskey, but drinking that all night turns me into a raging a*hole.

Just looking for advice / options. Gin has been mentioned to me before. Haven't really given it a go for a full evening though.

I used to use 151 Rum to burn my drugs, but then when I realized I was an alcoholic I stopped and just used a lighter.

What type of beer do you drink?

whiskey interspersed with glasses of water.

High Gravity beer, like with 10% or more alcohol, so you don't have to drink as much and won't get bloated and shit.

the above has never failed me since the night when i vomited in my fiancees car after proposing to her and being overserved to the tune of 10 gin martinis

I usually drink gin but more and more I think it's burning a hold in my stomach. Won't stop drinking though, so I've been on a Stoli O and soda kick.

i gave up beer pretty much entirely about a year ago cuz it made me feel like shit every time. go with wine or whiskey all the time now.

Beer makes me feel bloated these days as well, so I'll bring along a little Gas-X to keep me feeling light of my feet.

As for other things to drink: I thought your teens and twenties was when you experimented with everything and your 30s is when you settle on 2 or 3 favorites? At least that's what I've done.

Also, as ghey as it is, Vitamin Water (or SoBe Life Water) and Vodka is a damn good combo (Bonnaroo drank) for hot days and staying hydrated.

I say just get used to being hated. Eventually you may even start to enjoy it.
