Longest match in Wimbledon history currently ongoing.

Coming up on 7th hour.

It's probably sunny outside right now, Derris.

Fuck that. It's a thousand degrees out there and we have an "orange smog alert" in effect.

I'd rather stay indoors, watch this, and listen to Dirty Work.

I've only caught Federer's comeback in his first match and a bit of Sharapova's first match. I wish I could find time to watch more.

46-46. Doesn't one of these two have to keel over pretty soon?

at what time did this match get called off for darkness yesterday? you'd think they'd be nearing that point again soon.

hey, at least patrons are getting their money's worth.

No idea, Z. But if it gets called for darkness again, I imagine it could screw up the scheduling royally.

Mahut couldn't take advantage of 2 break points at 50-50.

FT, this 5th set has been longer than the longest MATCH in tennis history.

Show some respect.

This is straight up cartoonish at this point. Like, to the point of possible injury.

They just gave both players a toilet break DURING the match.

PLAY IS SUSPENDED!

Genuinely one of the most extraordinary sporting stories ever. Mahut complains he can't see the ball, and the match referee calls a halt to the match for the night. They've been on court 10 hours exactly, but they'll need to come back and settle this tomorrow.

Isner looks a right state when interviewed. His eyes are rolling back in their sockets, and the slur of his speech reveals just how exhausted he is. Mahut, remarkably, looks as fresh as a daisy.

And, constantly jack off throughout the day.

It's now up to 66-65...I really am starting to think they are going to play to the death.

Nicely done for the Greensboro, NC guy.

Also, Isner is scheduled to play a doubles match later today...wow.

Someone was telling me last night that the winner of the match was going to have to play their next singles round today also. I don't know that its true. It seems plausible that the winner would be playing next round 2 days after their last round game was scheduled but I wouldn't think that Isner would be scheduled to play a double and potentially a singles match in the same day.

Nadal is losing to Haase now. Federer had a hard time in his first match. This has been a strange and interesting Wimbledon so far.

(Serena) Williams then went out and beat Anna Chakvetadze 6-0, 6-1 in 48 minutes, but wasn't happy the match was put on Court 2 instead of Centre Court in recognition of her status as defending champion and three-time winner.

"I don't think I should be out there," Williams said.

Fuck you, Serena.
