Seeing Ken Burns Jazz on there reminds me: Have you heard they're re releasing Baseball with a new "inning" about the Steroid Era and other stuff that's happened since the original?

No i didn't. I'm not sure whether i even saw all of that burns doc on baseball. I recorded it to vhs years ago but I don't think I slogged all the way through it. I like that some burns stuff is av via instant viewing though so you can watch leisurely at your own pace. that national parks series was clogging up my tivo for a long time. I think it took me 8 months to get around to finishing it. I ended up deleting the one on WWII before finishing it because I needed more space.

Party Down just finished its second (and probably last) season, and both are available on Netflix Watch Instantly. I highly recommend it.

I've been watching Man v. Wild and Miami Inked. I use it mostly for docs and tv shows.

Party Down is well worth the watch. Season two is a little more uneven than it should have been though.

Archer is also very good and I'm usually not the biggest fan of the Adult Swim-style animated series. Some of the same people from Arrested Development provide the voice talent and the writing and animation are impressive.

Just watched the first two episodes last night and, while I don't agree with the above statement, it was very funny. Looking forward to watching the rest.

I'm surprised Adult Swim didn't pick up Archer. I didn't even know it existed until it popped up on my recommendations.

That said, Archer's better than most Adult Swim. Better than ATHF, though not as good as Metalocolypse or Venture Brothers.

I actually just got this and streaming via Xbox is awesome. My friends and I all love Archer and I'm rewatching episodes I've already seen just because it's so fucking funny. I watched a bit of Party Down last night and that was also funny, I need to watch more. Did they remove the seasons of Dexter they said were gonna expire? I'm still seeing them on my Xbox but I haven't checked.

Got the ROKU HD-XR device for Fathers Day for my 65" plasma. Works like a champ, but given the season I'm not sitting in front of the tube much. Only thing I've watched is My Left Foot, which is great and the kind of flick that never seems to show up on VOD. Good but not great HD quality but certainly worth watching.
