I didn't work in a restaurant and thought it was a pretty fun read.

Been sitting on my shelf for awhile. I need to read it.

Did anyone ever watch the sitcom based on it? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitchen_Confidential_(TV_series)

At one point I got a free copy of it. It was ok. Bradley Cooper was in it as Bourdain-esque character. His tats were cool on his arm of various kitchen knives I remember.

Just picked up Kitchen Confidential on a whim. Never read nor do I really know much about Bourdain.

It's a good read especially if you've spent even a minute working in a restaurant.

I've been sitting here drinking wine and reading this book practically non-stop. Fucking hilarious.

There's currently a No Reservations marathon on right now...I've caught DC, Chicago, Southwest and Maine. South Carolina is on at 10, which I am dvr-ing.

His newest one (Medium Raw) is a great read as well. Ronald McDonald had cooties, fucking brilliant.

He was on Morning Joe this morning, had the following comment about the current crop of "food celebrities"- "If you frost your hair, whiten your teeth, and wear sunglasses on the back of your neck, you're going to be successful."
