I can't figure out if this woman is treating her husband like an idiot because he is, or if he's acting like an idiot because she's treated him like one for however many years, but this couple makes me want to pull my teeth out.

Hericles - my 15 year old Marantz CD63 Ken Ishiwata Edition is near death. Lit candles and prayers would be appreciated.

Stalwart that he was spun thousands of albums thousands of times, it's just a shame we didn't have a slew of brilliant new releases in his final days. Goodbye old buddy.

you didn't go into any details on exactly what it's doing, but if it's taken to skipping, replacement laser mechanisms are available here:

Thanks to a typo in a NYC-area Chinese newspaper (area code 212) my friend who lives in D.C. (area code 202) was bombarded by calls all weekend from non-English speakers responding to an ad for a Chinese restaurant available for sale. The correct 212 number was a constant busy signal.
