Thanks Dalen. Nice site. The message board is quite tempting as well.

looks interesting.
pretty top 100 list.
although i find there's a few good films missing from that list;
man without a past and motorcycle diaries.

what's with the blockbuster ad?

i take it back, aside from being a list all it does it link you to Amazon?

This isn't much of a site. Mostly just a list that links to Amazon.com.

But it IS a good list...

You need NO resource, you have me!

PopTodd's 5 fave foreign films (off the top of my head):

Rules Of the Game (Renoir, France)
The Grand Illusion (Renoir, France)
Pather Panchali (Ray, India)
The World Of Apu (Ray, India -- yes, it's where the Simpsons got his name)
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Lee, China)
Hard Boiled (Woo, China)
The Seven Samuari (Kurasawa, Japan)

PT, no love for Amores Perros?

I love a good dog-fight, and that film has it, plus some medio-core (between soft- and hard-, not mediocre, in any strict sense) fucking.

Oh, and the old-fashioned VW Bugs too.

Yo amo Mexico.

Eventhough it has a bit of domestic stuff I think Strictly Film School has a lot more meat for the foreign connoisseur.

You know VW had a plant in Mexico building Bugs well after they cut production everywhere else

What the fuck is Amelie doing at #10? Especially while Jules and Jim is at 90.

Well aware. Learned of this when I did a three-weeks summer tour there with the assistance my school district's Spanish instructorate. It was Summer '97.
