i'm thinking about this new G2 coming out next month, but i recently saw it's not an international phone. does that mean that even replacing the SIM card when abroad won't work? cause that's usually an easy fix for per minute cost, but that's a huge deterrent if it won't even work then.

I heard it just won't do data internationally, but the voice and text messaging should work because it is a quad band phone. Not positive, but think that is the issue.

Finally got an Android phone - but went with the Samsung Epic 4G rather than the Evo 4G on Sprint.

After doing some research and downloading some apps (as well as an OTA update coming in), I think the battery life is going to be just fine for me. Had some worries about this coming in, and got really bad battery life this weekend but am now sitting at 71% after 7 hours. My Pre would have been about an hour and a half from dying at this point in the day.

Also, screen is awesome you guys. Now I'm off to find that app thread someone started a while back...
