No, but I don't think that just because you can find a worse or more problematic example of something that you shouldn't recognize other examples as also being negative.

I'm not really wanting to keep the argument rolling, but if someone comments on something I say that I feel merits comment or asks a question, I'm fine with responding. Really, I kinda figure most of this shit is pretty obvious to anyone who cares...and I can't help but poke a bit now and then at those who don't.

I agree with you on the larger point of the culture regarding objectification of women. However, when opinions are vague expressions of personal taste (eg she's hot or not, attractive or not) pointless as they might be, I think they are rather harmless. I'd be with you more if we were talking about the requirement that models be borderline anorexic or stuff like all the tabloid trash mags mocking any celebrities in bathing suits 5 lbs or more over their ideal weight. I just don't see a bunch of nerds commenting on the general attactiveness of a celebrity (male or female) as setting any standard that people would measure themselves against.

Exactly. Enjoy the pure beauty of a woman's body (even Katy Perry's non-airbrushed photos are hot!). Granted, the genetically advantaged forms are more aesthetically pleasing, but I'm sure someone will take issue with my take on it too.
