The 1st in a series of Guest Mixes is now up.

BTW - that guitar sounds like Jerry Garcia on the Plaid track.

Stu, do u think they sampled him? I have no idea.

Looks like that mix is by far the most downloaded so far. Since I've upped it, 1,240 dl's.

Oh, I don't think so, 2:05- 2:45 just sounds like a Jerry slow-jam

Really great tune and I hadn't heard it before.

But, it randomly reminds me that I saw/helped promote a Plaid/Mira Calix/Nobukazu Takemura show at the old Echo Lounge in Atlanta a few years after this when Double Figure was out (main single was "Eyen")

Dale, is there a way, if I'm streaming the mixes on the Soundcloud player, for you to notate when each songs starts/begins?

Wow, man, I think that's the first show I ever took my wife to back when we were dating. Had a great time that night.

Huh, small world. That was back when EastATL was still sketchy only a few blocks past the Echo. Oh, the wonders of gentrification.

hmmm, i'm not sure, but this is something i should definitely look into. i try not to mix the track intros very much, so each tune is showcased in its entirety, but having markers is a cool idea. i'll see what i can do.
