I know there's been some mention of his work on the board, mostly in his collaboration with Caitlin Cary. Last year he released a really great record, that for whatever reason was pretty much ignored. He's slowly been building momentum and it seems like more and more people are sitting up and listening. A few alt-country blogs just rec'd copies of the record this week, if thats any indication of how slow this is getting out there.

I, personally, got turned onto his music through the constant admirations given him by (the equally as overlooked) Sandra McCracken and Derek Webb.

he's a local that has been kicking around as long as I've lived here. Good songwriter, but musically it's a little too Grey's Anatomy pop (aka very Nashville acoustic-pop). Femdisco will be a fan of this.

He was giving the record away via NoiseTrade a couple of weeks ago and I neglected to get it then. Dumb.
