The redirect is legit and was an attempt to get around ysi's limit on 25 downloads by making it look like everyone was coming from the same ip address. I'm not sure it worked but it looks like the last 7 songs and song #4 are still active.

I suppose I could upload the others again if there's interest or I could post the song info and do another round later today or tomorrow if there's interest.

np: a mix from songlines magazine

Here are the ones that I guess are dead now:

1. Lie Beg Borrow & Steal - Plimsouls

From this album:

Image
One of the best 80's powerpop albums, should be readily available for cheap if you like it.

2. Falando Alto - Wagner Pa & Brazuca Matraca
off of this great double disc compilation of artists from the Current Barcelona music scene, "Barcelona Zona Bastarda,":

Wagner Pa & Brazuca Matraca's debut album which came out last year was my #2 album of the year.

3. Lady Day & John Coltrane -Gil Scott Heron

off of this album:

which would have probably made my listmania if I'd owned it for long enough to feel comfortable ranking it that high.

5. There At the Top - Squeeze

From my favorite Squeeze album. Not sure its still in print but if you can find it, its a great one:

6. Polly - Nirvana

Image

I'm sure everyone's very familiar with this but I wasn't going to interfere with the random selections

7. Some Misunderstanding - Gene Clark

From:

10. Eu Amo voce - Cassiano

From Cassiano's "Cedo ou Tarde"

14. Volkswagon BLues - Gilberto Gil (1971)

From
Image
One of Gilberto's best albums

I'll post the others later

Not that anyone appears to have been in suspense over this, but for whatever its worth the other tracks were:

4. Behind My Camel - THe police

From this album

Image

8. I Don't Like You - Stiff Little Fingers

classic punk from Irish's version of the clash off their album "Nobody's Heroes":

9. Mundo Pequeno - Doris Monteiro (1971)

From
[img][300:300]http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00018QAKK.01._SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg[/img]

Doris is my favorite Brazilian female artist.

11. Everybody needs love - Marvin Gaye

From:

Image

12. Da Art of the Story, Part I - Outkast

From:
Image

13 Green Rolling Hills - Emmylou Harris

From: Image

"Quarter Moon in a Ten Cent Town"... a bunch of Emmylou's 70's & 80's albums were remastered/re-released by Rhino last year.
They are all great. BMG has most which is a great way to pick them up for cheap.

Given the lack of response, I probably won't bother with a round 2 but if anyone really wants me too let me know.
