The Horrors - Primary Colours

I've been listening to this one a fair amount lately. When I got it, I was expecting more of a pychobilly sound (which I believe they previously had), but this harkens back to 80s British pop and goth stuff, and at many times really reminds me of The Chameleons. I really really like this album and recommend it to fans of Strange Times, Sisters of Mercy, and JAMC. Good stuff.

How do you like the Lissie record. I, personally really like it. Its been getting kinda so-so reactions around here though. What's on the Bronson sdtrk? I can't really remember any of the music from the film.

i think i'm with the so-so camp. she's got a great voice but half the songs on this album are kind of boring and jesus, 14 songs? she think she's the arcade fire? it would've been a lot better if she whittled it down to like her 10 best songs.

I'm listening to The Hentchmen's new album which is so high profile there isn't one single album cover picture on Google images.

"Slightly eccentric garage rock, heard it all before but better than most" would be my summation.
