As always, the Comments are better than the actual story.

I especially like the last one - that "Congressman Bright from Alabama" is an oxymoron.

The best thing about that page though is discovering from the advertisement (which i assume you non-CA'ers probably don't get) is a link to a Meg Whitman campaign website with the url jerryfails.com

That's probably localized using cookies and what not. Bloor probably has a "Bad Deal" ad, and someone in Nevada has a "Wrong Anngle" ad.

Yeah that's what I meant when I said non-CA'ers probably don't get it.

Although I'd argue that the governor's race in California ranks as almost national politics due to the size and complexity of the state.

It's kinda like how Radcliffe follows American politics but none of us give a fuck about Canadian politics.

I thought you meant they wouldn't "Get it" in terms of understanding, not "won't see the same ad."

And let's not kid ourselves, Moonbeam will eventually win by 20 points.

Am I the only one who feels like that new Cee-Lo song is facile, and not really all that catchy?

Check the TWENYTEN thread from some "discussion" of that song, Gar.

Yeah that was discussed to the point of pissy-ness.

I barely read the 2010 thread, unless I'm searching for something.

I think the tune is catchy but the lyrics are pretty stupid and really get a lot of distance just out of saying Fuck You.

Agreed, and the tune isn't really as meaty as it could've been.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. The song is catchy and great and you love it. Stop being retarded.

Not that I am not a huge fan of saying Fuck You I should ad. And, I actually like Cee-lo quite a bit. I think ti is just the whole money angle I can't get on board with. The song starts out and the first fuck you sounds good to me. Then he starts whining about money and he loses me immediately. Guess I just don't run in circles with gold diggers so it has no resonance to me. Or maybe something like I see no reason to be whining about not getting some gold digger to keep going out with you instead of saying good riddance. Just don't really get it.

i think we can all agree that a song with a "fuck you" hook is gimmicky.

This is where I'm at. It doesn't sound like a real problem... I'm not with him. Contrast this with Outkast and Kanye lyrics on the same topic, where she is not welcomed back, and you have the whitest thing I've ever typed.

I think you guys are kind of barking up the wrong tree with the whole money angle.

It's just not that great of a song, and it gets old pretty fast.

The little breakdown/bridge thing is kind of neat, but it's also pretty silly.

I chuckled. Welcome back.

Also, F**K YOU! is simply plain dumb fun, but done by an act who has an artistic reputation that takes it beyond a shitty Miley Cyrus single. Like Shiv said to ol billyg, the haters need to get the stick out of their collective ass.

One of the few remaining bright spots of the Howard Stern show is Richard Christy....
