how are you handling the download code stuff?

very basic. it will have a specific link back to the web shop. we're not too worried at this point about people sharing that link. when we grow, we'll probably have to set it up differently.

are you setting up your own webshop, or going through an online service..i think i want to implement a download code thingee too..

Dale, let me know if anyone wants to come through ATL...I'll support this cause!

personally, I prefer black vinyl, colored vinyl gets damaged easier.

never ever ever ever use White or clear Vinyl.

Yeah, I have my own webstore and use paypal...while their are others a little cheaper and more friendly, paypal has the name recognition and the trust of the majority of people who d online charges..

my mp3 store is using www.klicktrack.com out of sweden....great customizable layouts, and is on par $$ wise with all the others....I do set up a cdbaby account as well, for each release, to get mp3 placement on all the sites (itunes, amazon, napster, emusic, etc...) I'm well covered...

But i am interested in doing the download code w/ purchase of vinyl aspect...after your guy sets it up, please let him know i wanna speak with him as well!!

Toots, I def. have some graphix work i'd like to talk to you about in about two weeks or so!

yeah, i've been speaking to certain artists for a few weeks now, just going over possibilities. after our convo i definitely had a better idea in which direction to head as far as the vinyl was concerned.

btw, how long did it take for you to get test pressings from Pirates Press? 2-3 weeks?

depends how busy they are..but yeah, once they get all the materials, you should get you test pressing in 2-3 weeks, and once you approve them, prob another 3-4 weeks to get your order to you...they manufacture overseas....

check out the pirates press myspace page...they have a link to their blog, which i think is on their home page as well, where they display the top vinyl they do week in week out...some amazing idea's i got from there...

It's always great to see someone who actually loves music start a label. Good luck, Dalen!

Debut release from Glass Vaults is looking like a mid-October release.

Site will be up the end of this week, and the record will be available for pre-order within 2 weeks.
