Well, went down to the Greyhound Station
To catch an outbound dog
I got my ticket from a man
He said, Son you wanna check your bags?
I said, No thank you sir, I carry my home right in my hand

I got my home in my hand, and I'm a travellin' man
When I need a woman, I want a one-night stand
Yeah, I move pretty quick cause I got my home in my hand

I don't know what makes me ramble
And I guess I really don't care
I feed one mouth, and that's my own
Well, just like trouble you can find me
On the corner of any two streets
Smoking up weed and sitting on my own

I got my home in my hand, and I'm a travellin' man
When I need a woman, I want a one-night stand
Yeah, I move pretty quick cause I got my home in my hand

Got my home in my hand, and I'm a travellin' man
When I meet a woman, I want a one-night stand
Yeah, I move pretty quick cause I got my home in my hand

I got my home, my home in my hand
I got my home, and I'm a travellin' man
I got my home, my home in my hand
I got my home in my hand, and I'm a travellin' man
I got my home, and I'm a traveling man
I got a home in my hand, and I'm a travellin' man
I got my home, my home in my hand
I got my home in my hand, and I'm travellin' man, oh

Can someone answer why Monster Energy hats are so popular right now? This weekend, I made a rare appearance in our mall and the middle kiosks were full of them, in addition to a ton of the stores. Not to mention that it seemed like every kid under 17 had one on. One of you has to know. I figure it probably is some X-Games rider, skater, etc., but who?

X-games culture is part of it. Monster and Red Bull have become the title sponsors for anything involving extreme sports these days.

But also, they pervade every piece of youth culture they can be involved in. They have an insane amount of money to market with. I mean, each can costs what, 6 cents? They charge $3? Red Bull sponsors not one, but TWO NASCAR teams. You know how much money it costs to do that?

With all the athletes and celebrities pimping their shit, it's no surprise that mall rat kids would eat it up.

Monster is also bigtime in the world of motorcycles these days. Well, sportbikes, not bigfat Harleys. They sponsor stunt teams (for X Games type shit) and professional race teams as well. I've seen a few wife-beater-shorts-sneakers-etc sportbike rats around bston with Monster logos all over their crotch rockets.

I think they're big into rally cars or something too. Doing a great job marketing a brand that I've never experienced at all.

They might as well be marketing strychnine, crystal meth and battery acid. Oh yeah, they are.

nice to see Monster picking up the ball that was dropped by Ecto Cooler so many years ago.

I think the only way that this product could be less appealing to me is by giving it the consistency of slime.

That's what we figured here in the office. Wasn't sure though if there was a particular athlete or musician which was pimping themselves for the drink.

I will say these aren't bad:

How astute. 99% of the time I'm grabbing black coffee. But there was this one time...

Just frantically checked the Mute button on my desk phone mid-fart during a conference call. That could've been awkward.

Ecto Cooler was actually made in my town for years and years, as one of the main Hi-C juice box plants was located here. Then they moved out and closed the plant...and nothing has moved in since.

The town has never quite gotten over that loss fiscally (they were the #1 tax payer).
