Fun thing about gall bladder removal is it will take a while for your body to learn to process fat again...so you've got a time frame here where the more fatty the foods you eat, the more your body will just let 'em slide through instead of processing them. Which basically means you'll shit a lot, but you can lose a few pounds eating fried chicken and french fries about now.

That poor little thing was sitting in formalin, probably all cut up already and submitted for microscopy;
Bunch of chopped-up, formalin-fixed tissue is probably all that remains.
But if there were gallstones, you can get them if your doctor is proactive and you're lucky.

everything's healed up on the outside now, you can barely even see a scar from the punctures they made


Occasionally I will have some phantom pressure discomfort in the right upper quadrant of my stomach which can occur in about 15-20% of cases but other than that yeah, sometimes I'll will have to go soon after eating a meal and that's about it

That'd be awesome. I'm gonna be laid up at least a week, maybe 2.
