It was, but they had to throw the ball WAY too much so it was almost inevitable that he was going to fuck up. Especially with Polamolu out there roaming around.

Still, after watching Brady's highlights, it's clear how far Ryan still has to go. He overthrew several receivers throughout the game.

Then there was the penalty on the 3rd down conversion on the opening drive of OT. Also, and this is debatable, no balls to go for it on 4th and 1 inside the 10 to win with about 3:30 to go.

Roddy White was great though.

As for Mora, agree. Thanks for nothing asshole.

bad weekend for football, without question

better effort by the irish than the cowboys, but neither left me with the warm fuzzies

despite barron's ridiculousness, the rest of the OL actually played pretty well, considering they were missing their two most important starters with injury

romo's had better games, sure, but he wasn't bad last night night

the play before the half was inexcusable - wade and garrett are both getting crucified this morning on the local sports talk airwaves (as is barron, of course)

i did expect the cowboys to lose going in, but the redskins really tried to give this one away, so that sucks ass

hey, but the rangers swept the yankees, so there's that!

Saints ugly win. I'll take it. Better was having Arian Foster on my fantasy team.

Win is a win. We'll take it. Our D was great tonight, and while the Jets weren't a huge test for our secondary...I think we passed. Flacco, I don't know if he had Monday Night jitters or what, but he made some bad decisions. Still gotta love going to Boldin as a receiver.

arrowhead could be one of the tougher places to play this year, if the crowd is that frenzied every game

What little bit I watched of that game, KC looked like they were on fire, but then I really have no idea how good/bad a team SD is. It DID remind me though, that my son LaDanian hasn't sent me any walking around money in months.

I kinda scoffed at all the pundits who picked the Chiefs to win the AFC West, but I think they might have a chance. They obviously got over one big hurdle last night. Sure, we've only witnessed 1 game for everyone, but I like what I see with the team. Between Jones and Charles, they shouldn't have any problems on the ground. They get a break next week with Cleveland, and then 3 straight rough games in 49ers, then away vs. Texans and Irsays.

49ers have the weapons. They aren't the push-over they have been the past 2 seasons, despite what the first game of 2010 looked like.

I think it comes down to Hasselback staying healthy. Obviously, 08 was a washout. 09 he never really got going. If he stays healthy, the Seahawks aren't a horrible team. Seahawks just adequately stopped the 49ers run game. Gore had around 40 yards total. Alex Smith, had (yardage-wise) an impressive day. Though his 2 INTs and 1 fumble led to downfalls. Turnovers kill teams.

well bob, this will probably be both ugly and hilarious to watch, since lovie smith and wade philips will be in a high profile stupid contest. fox should just play the benny hill theme song in the background for the whole three hours

I'm smelling an upset victory here for The Bears

kinda excited to see what they can do against a better defense and a worse offensive line
