I, for one, am very excited that meat clothing is coming into vogue. It's about damn time.

I enjoyed when Ms Germanotta offered, "I never thought I'd be asking Cher to hold my meat-purse".

Apparently, Cher is trying to broaden her horizons, prolly to understand better what Chaz is going thru.

Say what you will, but I love what Gaga is doing. She writes her own catchy songs, plays at least 1 instrument proficiently, sings well, and pushes the boundaries. While I seldom if ever desire to listen to her music, I appreciate that she's out there, doing her own crazy thing. Any radio time she can steal from Miley Cyrus and the other manufactured 'stars' of the world is a win, imo.

what boundaries is she pushing? what is the "crazy thing" she's doing?

if you're some mindless 12 year old, or some soccer mom of a mindless 12 year old, what she does might be "pushing boundaries and crazy".

i love the interview where she was wearing a Satanic Slaughter shirt.

interviewer asks her "so you like black metal?" her answer..."i just think the design is cool."

at that point, the interviewer should have placed a toilet seat over her head, and throated her till she wept.

You sound like a 14 year old kid trying hard to prove he's cool.

Oh wait.

I'm just surprised you fail to see the irony of someone co-opting other people's art, whether it be the meat dress or some dumb metal tshirt, when your mixes that you are so proud of are, essentially, doing the same thing: repackaging someone else's art and calling it something new.

so you're too dumb to realize that my mixes are simply mixes of music that i like, and i just happen to enjoy sharing said music with others?

it has absolutely zero to do with calling it something new. it's a mix of tunes that i like, complete with links to the artists.

keep reaching, and failing Yail. it's a good look.

You make up names for them and have flashy covers and pimp them when they come out like they are...product.

And I'm not criticizing your mixes or your whole mechanism, just pointing out the inadequacies of your argument.

I don't really see the problem with "repackaging" or whatever people are accusing Lady Gaga of here. If you don't want anything repackaged, you might as well turn off all contemporary media. Everything draws from whats come before it. There are larger and smaller degrees of "repackaging", but ultimately the adage "nothing new under the sun" is pretty damn accurate.

I have no clue what her intentions were with the meat dress, but seeing people having to hug her in that get-up is worth the price of admission.

If by "making up names" you mean "titling images with the photographer that takes the images", then OK.

It's been done before. Ridiculous. Yawn.

Lady Gaga wears a meat dress, Pete Doherty gets busted for crack, Amy Winehouse sharts down her leg. Wake me up when we get to the good part.

Lady Gaga wears a meat dress for attention, Pete and Amy are junkies, and in Pete Doherty's case actually talented.

I'm just saying nothing's shocking / unique.

If MJ faked his death and comes back this year, THAT will get my attention.
