I was out and about yesterday and I was passing a tattoo 'parlour' and a heavily tattooed goth girl emerged from the shop. Now for some reason when girls have short skirts on I usually notice this and my vision was, for a split second, directed towards her legs which had lots of tattoos on them. The one that caught my eye though was a large etching of none other than Albert Einstein. Not something you'd expect to see on a goth. I though they were more into Wicca than Theoretical Physics, but it just goes to show you.

Spotted any strange or unusual tattoo's?

Speaking of Albert Einstein tattoos, (You have no idea how many times a day I say that...)

I once saw a tat that read, E != MC Hammer

Immortalizing physics, C++ and bad music all at once. Damn, that guy was weird, too.

Not very strange, but my wife has two on her legs. A rose and a very intricate chaplet.

The deal was that before we were married I had no say as to what she did to her body. Now, there is a moratorium on any more tattoo's. She is, however, attempting to use a loophole to get her existing tattoo's colored.

Call me a puritan, but I just can't deal with tats on a chick. They're either the tatt-ed out nasty gothy chicks or the uber-retarded, trendy small of the back or ankle tattoo girls. Both groups earn my disdain.

And more importantly- Think about when you're 60, people!!! Everyone is going to look like mega-trash when they have their grandchildren tracing their tattoos.

There's exceptions to everything. I wouldn't turn out a tatted-out Angelina Jolie or Alyssa Milano. Nope.

Couldn't've said it better myself. (No offense to anyone w/ a tat or whatever, just not my bag)

The butterfly or rose on the breast is the worst. Excluding ICP tattoos, of course.

There is nothing worse than when you are evaluating porn to protest with your local evangelical group and some hot ass girl has the cliche terrible lower back tattoo. Ruins the whole experience.

Did anyone ever see that SNL skit where they talk about lower back tattoos? Goddamn hilarious!

My best friend got her tattoo there about 14 yrs ago. Well before they became cliche. Only she's miss high fashion preppy princess with a secret wild side and its a really long dragon across that area.

When I was getting mine(which most of you know where and what it is and it ain't normal) three girls walked in during that space of time I was there and picked their little roses, vines, whatever off of wall art and had them done in the lower back area.

My gf with me laughed her ass off saying at least the tattoo artist doesn't even KNOW who mine is of.

I'll defend mine forever. I like it. I'm happy with my choice and it frankly it is my choice and I don't plan on getting my body draped with them. I think on women they can be quite cool as long as they are a tad bit unexpected.

man have I missed a conversation or what... Charli, If i may be so bold, of what, and where is your tattoo?

And actually, stereotyped anything is often distasteful to me and many on this board. The back tat is s-o-o-o passe it has become ugly. And for the most part, i've never liked tattoos on womens breasts - it takes away from what i really want to be lookin' at...

just sayin'

It's this picture minus the guitar and just the head. On my upper left arm. Came out damn good too. Put it there about a year and a half ago.

Tattoos are going to happen whether there are laws allowing it or disallowing it. The only thing that will change is method. Lady Bics and pen ink will replace clean parlours and Staind concerts. Families that can afford it will fly their daughters to Europe to have the procedure done by a professional tattoo artist so that they won't be embarrassed at Thanksgiving. IMO, a decision for a tattoo is between a woman and Tony Steedman (best known for his role as Socrates in the 1989 film "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure).

I hope the message gets through.

Breast tattooing, and neck tattooing, are the worst.

Rest assured, I don't hang at a lot of redneck/white-trash/biker bars, so as to avoid seeing the former, nor do I go to NOFX/Midtown/Lucky Boys Confusion/Good Charlotte shows, so as to avoid the latter.

As to ass crown foliage, I find it, sometimes, endearing. I mean, if you're hitting it from the back, in between donkey punches and finishing on her back, you just might want to have a story to read. Such is why I enjoyed my last session; the girl had five or six Calvin and Hobbes daily strips above her crack. It was awesome....

i think they're pretty hot on girls tho those lower back tattoos are pretty weak.

a girl i know has some pretty awesome ones all over and she's not goth.

one of my roommates has them all over and tho they're pretty good they're kind of random things and it looks kind of weird.
