Come watch Tony live on stage as he eats sand-warmed, feces-flecked boar rectum.

One of my kids saw him last year in St. Pete, and is going to the 11/19 gig. Said it was great.

Yeah, he just did a show in Omaha on September 11th for that price, and I just didn't see the point of paying that price now, when he was going to talk about the same shit he did when he spoke here in Lincoln a few years ago for a fraction of the ticket price.
Plus, they practically gave tickets away to students at UNL, so I'm not sure why he's worth an extra $30 now.

he did a free event here a few months ago and the place was jammed like crazy. they took the overflow and put them in a nearby theater to watch. i would've been irate had i waited just to get sent to another room and watch on tv.

That episode changed my life in a negative way.

There's some things you just can't UNSEE.

They should also force every person who doesn't believe in evolution to watch this particular segment.

I saw him a few months ago. I'd go again in a few years.

Can those of you who've see him let me know what the show program is? I'm thinking about buying tix for his Nashville stop in November, but don't want to if it's just retreads of stuff I've seen him speak on during interviews and such.

From when I saw him, he read a few excerpts from Medium Raw, expanded on some of those topics, and did a little (maybe 20-25%) audience Q&A. It was enjoyable, but I would pass the next time unless The Wife really wanted to go.

To be honest, I'm tired of Bourdain. He's on the Dr. Drew business plan.

i saw him in Bloomington and he did a schtick with another guy, some thickly accented French master chef

French guy played the Old World Euro with Refined Sensibilities, while Tony played the Rough and Tumble Former-Junkie-Turned-Bull-Rectum-Eater and they did a back and forth sort of thing the whole night. it was pretty interesting. i'd probably see him again.

I get what you mean here, but come on: Dr. Drew is a cretin; a medical doctor who exploits people's illnesses for financial gain. Bourdain is just a huckster who found a good con for the rubes on the midway.
