While that is true, I would argue that a September loss (the SC game where Quincy threw 12 INT's yet was kept in the game) was when I realized that JD was not just done but well done.

That game is exactly what this year is reminding me of

Negative. That team had Stroud, Seymour, Grant, Jon Stinchcomb, Kendrell Bell in addition to Q. Stroud and Seymour aren't walking through that door this year. (and they finished 8-4. I doubt seriously we end up 8-4)

Plus, that season will always have the night we beat Tennessee and then laid waste to Downtown Athens. This season will have the day we beat Louisiana Lafayette and then I clipped my toenails.

Nebraska will pay the Big 12 an estimated 9.255 million dollars for leaving the conference without giving a two year notice. That fee will be reduced by a half million dollars if they make a BCS game. The Big 12 was trying to get an estimated 19.37 million dollars from the Huskers, but I think that became a lost cause when Colorado started to renegotiate a deal to leave the Big 12 after this year.

Heard this week's LSU-West Virginia game described as a "cultural atom smash".

Haha.

Today's wishlist:

1) Oregon St. pulls off the upset
2) Auburn douses USC with reality
3) Wolfpack knocks off Tech
4) Ryan Mallett beheaded
5) Dawgs get off the snide, take care of business.

1) Maybe I'm in the minority, but I actually want to see Boise St. run the table and get a slot in the MNC game (preferably against Bammer).
2) I think I'd rather USC be undefeated when they play Bammer in a couple of weeks. The more Spurrier wins, the more he will regain some of the "Old Ball Coach" swagger and let's face it, that shit is entertaining.

The rest though, we are in lockstep, amigo.

I think USC is gonna treat Auburn ala MC Ren.

And if we don't win tonight, I might shit in the street.

Maybe the most interesting afternoon of ball so far this year. Hope the slate of night games lives up to billing.

Don't want to speak too soon but Texas...........wow.

Also, the Big 10 should've been blacked out for all of their games for their slate today.

Embarrasing.

Texas now has the inside track to the Arby's Bowl.

The stiff, overeducated, socialist upper lip quivered slightly in approval. Although the neighbors called 911 because they thought the volume of the screaming was worrisome.

What I posted on Tuesday on a UCLA blog:

Quote:
And on a more serious note… I have this feeling in my gut. I think we win on Saturday and I don’t think it’s Prince’s passing. I think we run for 240 and have some special teams breaks. Bruins, 38-28.

I was barely halfway paying attention, but I think offensive genius Gus Malzahn just called a jughead draw.

I believe Derris accurately referred to him as "Jeff George" last week.

I was pulling for the Beavs tonight too.

I think an undefeated Nevada will take out an undefeated BSU on 11/26 in Reno. That will be a fun game to watch.
