Jesus I just literally cried laughing for like 2 minutes when Kenny referenced the sax player from The Lost Boys in last night's episode. Man that was awesome.

Some of it was funny, but like Widespread Panic (who is referenced on the show) I have a hard time separating this show from its fanbase, which in my world consists of MBA students, post-frat bankers, insurance guys and lawyers from the Southeast. Everytime I hear some "off-color" race joke, stupid close-minded quip come out of Kenny's mouth or line of coke that goes up someone's nose I can imagine somewhere dudes with Polo shirts tucked in to their khaki shorts with tassled or gold-buckle loafers on their feet just ROTFLing who fail to recognize the satire and who worship the loser, narcissistic, stuck in adolescence characters.

I wish I could enjoy the show for being what it is: Farrell/McKay/McBride produced low-brow humor, but I can't get over the above association.

I understand and empathize witness Stu, and sometimes the over the top humor elicits a half hearted chortle, but this is not that funny.
