Well, his twitter acct said that he couldn't wait for his day in court, etc. Like the blog said, that allegation will dog you though for the rest of your career--even if its not true. Would suck if it wasn't. There's a lot of accusations saying he's off the wagon. Boy's got some genes in him.

Maybe. Also could be he wasn't charged with assault or battery (whatever it is) until the next day or after he got out.

Still, sounds like there were a TON of witnesses. I'm sure the truth will come out one way or another.

I hope for his sake is was just a melee and the girl was in the wrong place at the wrong time. If it turns out he straight clocked her, then the guy deserves everything he gets.

Agreed. Can't be going around hitting women. Bad news. Hopefully the rumors of his hitting the bottle and drugs are off as well.

Being forced to go see Barenaked Ladies tonight at £32 for the privilege . Stupid Ticketmaster couldn't even get something as simple as delivering a ticket to someone's home right and consequently I have to go early to pick it up from the venue. Excellent.

At least I get to go to Burger King on the way.

Still, I shouldn't complain too much as I've been threatened with A-Ha if I don't cheer up.

This made me laugh. At least you shouldn't have to hunt high and low for one.

Missed the one about the Jewish Sabbath.

Those are some easy, basic questions.

missed the question about which religion most of Pakistan relates with. Clicked Muslim, and then changed it to Hindu. Yeah, those are some basic questions, but I can see how some would trip up the average person. I just happened to have studied most of the topics covered.

I got 14/15, but had to look up Jonathan Edwards and I got the "8. Which Bible figure is most closely associated with remaining obedient to God despite suffering?" question wrong by incorrectly answering Abraham.

What's that called? Transubstantiation?

I got 13 of 15 correct. Missed the Jewish Sabbath (I chose Saturday) and the religion of Pakistan (chose Hindu in a 50/50 between that and Muslim). C'est la vie. I got the last question right about the great awakening and only 11% of people when I took it answered that correctly, so I consider my 87% a win.

Chalk this up to yet another survey proving that US residents, on average, are ignorant.

Oddly enough, one of the centers--if not the center of that movement--is now in the so-called "most liberal town in America". Northampton, Mass. The huge church in the center of town was Edwards' church.

I almost felt awful for Pat Benatar, until I re-read this.
