i know there are a lot of the wire and treme fans out there: david simon received a macarthur grant. a lot of cool people on the list including type designer matthew carter.

I had the pleasure of meeting Matthew Carter in college. Glad to see he was given this grant. He's created some of the most-used fonts--Tahoma, Verdana, & Georgia among others.
