I really want to go to this, but I'm not sure if I'll be in town on the date they're coming to LA. I really need to figure this out.

LCD are awesome...but, after seeing them at the Echo, I'm not sure how a sweaty, packed El Rey show could live up to my expectations...

i kinda wish they were playing a smaller, less view-obstructed room than the avalon, but i'm absolutely going to this.

There will be so many asymmetrical haircuts there that the room will tilt sideways.

The Hipster quotient will be hilarious.

yeah but the show will be good and despite getting called out for being a hipster all too frequently myself (i ask you, is this a hipster? i think not!!), the people-watching will be spectacular.

so. i say bring on the fun.

So . . . the South doesn't exist anymore? Didn't get the memo, apparently.

I saw them at the Empty Bottle in Chicago last year where the capacity is what, 300? They're playing at the Metro this time around which I believe is 1100. Should be excellent though!

I'm anxious to see if M.I.A. can bring it live.
