Got the Droid 2 a week ago, and I gotta say that so far the thing has been awesome. Yeah it doesn't have the larger screen and beefed up camera that the Droid X has, but the improved keyboard makes it worthwhile (for me at least). After my last phone, which was pretty much only good for talk and text, it's great to have a device that can help manage the complicated mess that my life can be sometimes.

Anybody else get a 2 or an X yet, or did I just totally miss another thread listing that?

i've got the droid x and it's amazing, except for the battery life but i've got a car charger and you can use the regular charger in an outlet or usb so it's not like there's not options. the swype keyboard is great. best phone i've ever owned.

I'm still a huge fan of my Cliq almost a year later. New devices always seem to lose their luster after a couple months and start to not have functionality that the newer devices have. I remember becoming bored and disappointed with my Blackberry after about 4 months. I love that the android devices and apps are getting updated to increase the lifespan and usefulness of the phone.

I like my Droid Eris, but I don't love it. An iPhone 4 will likely be my Christmas present to myself. The inability to store apps on the SD card without rooting is a pain, and I've run into frequent syncing problems lately.

the update to android 2.2 lets you put apps on the sd card.
