Whoever it was in the Rangers organization that made the decision to not start Cliff Lee on short rest yesterday should be fired. Anyone who agreed with the decision should be fired.

Now even if they win tomorrow, Lee's probably not available until game 3 of the ALCS. The Rangers aren't nearly as scary if Lee isn't lined up to potentially make 3 starts.

yeah, that's more accurate in terms of what to look forward to regarding the ALCS

there is NO WAY the rangers win game 5, not even if they start the ghost of cy fucking young himself

it's OVER, cliff lee or no cliff lee

I don't agree. First, Tommy Hunter isn't very good. Wade Davis is. Secondly, I think the Rangers drove the decision by deciding against pitching Lee on short rest. Tampa has to win both games so I think it made sense to hold back Price for the Lee matchup. If Lee had pitched yesterday and Tampa didn't counter with Price, then I'd agree. Also, Texas should ride the Lee Horse as much as they can because he's likely gone after the season ends for them.

Hunter wasn't good on Saturday, but the fucker had the BEST WINNING PERCENTAGE AMONG AL STARTERS, so he doesn't exactly suck.
