Limburger is disgusting, for that reason alone I probably would have skipped that one. The Aunt Mille looks like an improvement.

Yeah, this one looks all sorts of foul. I commend you for even attempting to consume such a monstrosity.

for tomorrow:

seems to be a nice friendly greek salad of a burger, hopefully delectable enough to cleanse the palate after that nightmare of a jizzburger from last week.

Dang, that does look good. I could almost convince myself to make that with ground turkey...

i think ground turkey would work just fine for you on this one, if that's what you have to do.

Add some gyro seasoning to the meat if you want the complete Greek experience... and then buttsecks.

My wife high-fives you, though lately she's been ok with dairy again. ..?

I thought I was good with dairy again, but after eating it for a while and causing Toots to stay in the other room for fear of burnt nostril hairs, I now know I should quit. But it's soooo gooood!

Yeah, I'm supposed to severely limit my intake of red meat. It's sorta a blessing in disguise because though I'm still a Great Big Fat Person, I don't look like The Michelin Man anymore thanks to necessary diet changes.

I just ate this at Flannigan's, and damn was it good. Medium, buttered bun, bacon was proper crispy, USA cheese, and their signature BBQ sauce. And them there curly fries....lordy.

THE AUNT MILLIE

<press play>

As expected, a successful rebound from the charnel depths of this experiment from last week. I still have half of a block of limburger cheese in my fridge if anyone wants it. This week's project was at Shera's house, who's lately been under the weather. I thought half a pound of beef and a block of cheese would cheer her up, but such things only seemed to sour her mood as the night progressed. Perhaps my rubber band collection would have brightened things up.

Libation was Bell's Lager of the Lakes, which was our second choice behind New Albanian Brewing Company, an Indiana beer of which I could not find. It was wet and tasted like the yeasted boilings of fermented grains.

Website was all like "challah rolls," but we were all like "challah loaf." This bread is so good it makes me verklempt. I want to have my very own Fyvush Finkel.

We're slowly discovering the secret to a successful Cheeburger Tuesday is to keep the tootlins occupied. Nothing two four-dollar pumpkins can't handle.

The Miss Daisy. Not our tightest burg, but it smelled like feet and tasted like freedom spelled with feta cheese, red onions, italian dressing, olives, arugula, tomatoes and a few other things I can't remember because the site just crashed.

Gets three fabulous Fabs for being better than bad (i.e. good):

at's a fine looking foodstuff. I've got racial-level hatred for all salad dressings, so that would've thrown me off but otherwise appears to be delish. Best to Shera in getting better speedily.

In Austin burger news, we've got a fancy schmancy "burger bar" opening on the south side of downtown that seems worth a look.

There's something that feels a little wrong about the place aesthetically speaking, but the chefs involved have a good enough track record that I'll get over it.

& as expected, the worm has turned. I imagine no Obner digs Chipotle anymore. Not Sssqqquuuiiirrrgggllleee, not Fractured_Take, not LooGAR -- no one. No one else.

& that confirms everything I need to do about Obners's affections.

Stick to record keeping instead of prognosticating, Monty. Phil and I ate at Chipotle not much more than a month ago and were quite sated. Of course, Phil spoke at length of how he could make things better in his kitchen, but that's true of just about everywhere.
