i want to learn how to play guitar just so i can play the opening chords to mission of burma's "ballad of johnny burma".

although i would like to expand my musical horizons past my already proficient drums and quasi-proficient bass playing. maybe someday i'll pick up a shitty guitar and play those chords and only those chords.

I'd to learn so I could play the Indian guitar scales on The Byrds 'Whats Happening?!?!' while wearing blue lens glasses so I could be just as cool as Roger McGuinn.

that was the first song i learned on bass. of course i couldn't tell you what the notes are, i just know how to read the tabs or listen for what the notes sound like.
