Certainly if I had to watch for kittens everyday in the parking lot while entering and leaving work I'd suggest calling the pound or the humane society.

You should collect the kittens in a cardboard box and leave at this guy's desk with a note that says "Take us home" with a cutesy little smiley face drawn on it. Problem solved.

This has more or less happened to me. Twice. About 7 years ago a kitten was outside work in the snowy parking lot, where it'd obviously just gotten dumped. Took her home, cleaned / fed her etc, and while trying to get her adopted she had kittens under my night stand, which was crazy because she wasn't even fully grown herself... little harlot. We eventually got all 4 placed but it took 6 months total at least. Second time was about 5 years ago, someone at my wife's work brought in a kitten that her dogs found / dragged in from a farm. It wasn't even weened yet. So we took it in, started making formula (yogurt, gelatin, etc), and the next day the dog dragged in his sister. We raised both and then our best friends adopted them. They're awesome cats.

Yeah, or suggest that HE collect them and do a fucking homeless pet drive....I understand that he's all like "Don't Smash TEH Kitties," but this type of problem solving is endemic to our entire culture: I don't really want to do any work to fix something, but sending an email or "liking" something on Failbook? SURE, I'm a GREAT Person. I'm all about saving pets and ending genocide in Darfur.
