Hey obner, how you been?

I haven't been around much with the new job and all.

Actually, it's been an interesting stretch of months that have occupied my time. The first house we moved in NOLA had chinese drywall, which caused my triplets to be constantly sick. So after dealing with sick kids for two months, we moved into our 2nd house this past weekend. It's much nicer and chinese drywall free.

What you been up to?

Now that things are settling down, I'm looking forward to resuming my life on the internet.

Yeah man. Glad that got resolved and it's all behind you. What a fucking disaster (and scary).

Hope the new place and transition has been smooth.

Speaking of jobs, I guess this is as good a place as any since this has "been going on" with me:

After almost 150 resumes, countless volunteer hours, handful of informational interviews, handful of actual interviews, and 10 long months, I landed a new job.

One of the movers I work with has been minting money down in Florida thanks to the whole Chinese drywall thing; it's a fucking disaster of epic proportions.

I'm not a homeowner so I have no fucking clue what "Chinese Drywall" is, but I did Google it, and what do you know? When there are no corporate regulations, shit like this gets made.
