I wanna get another one of those going again. So here's the deal:

1. Pick a number between 1 and 1346 (everybody's gotta pick a different number in this step)

2. Pick a second number between 1 and 99

The first number you pick represents the album, and the second number represents the song from that album (if you pick, for example, 99 on an album that only has 12 songs, I'll get a number that works by adding 9 + 9 to get 18, then 1 + 8 to end up with 9).

Last time we did this I ended up with a pretty cool mix. Curious what'll happen this time.

Edit: oh, and I need to get around 20 - 22 tracks.

I'll take album 916 (a very nice ducati) and song 4, for the number of valves it has per cylinder.

Still haven't fixed my bike.

Holy shiznit, out of six replies so far two (2!) of 'em were albums that were on my previous random mix. I think I'll sort my collection differently this time.

Keep 'em comin'!

If I'm one of 'em, I can change my selection.

Awright. I've been having fun with my Excel sorting function. I've compiled a couple of random mixes, and might as well post 'em all.

First, here's the mix compiled from the alphabetical list:

1. Jet "Lazy Gun" Get Born (Chase)
2. Royal Fingerbowl "Echoes In My Mind" Greyhound Afternoons (Cap'n Squirrgle)
3. Buddy Blue "The Boys From Syracuse" Dive Bar Casanovas (Senator etc. LooGAR)
4. The Go Betweens "Going Blind" The Friends Of Rachel Worth (almost)
5. Felix Cavaliere & Veronica "I Love You So" Adios Amigos: Tribute to Arthur Alexander (Aural Fixation)
6. Ryan Adams "Burning Photographs" lloR 'n' kcoR (Z)
7. Wreckless Eric "Hit And Miss Judy" Big Smash (reissue) (Dalen)
8. Ben Vaughn "Poor Jimmy Gordon" Dressed In Black (bort)
9. Wire "Brazil" Pink Flag (a mighty good leader)
10. A Camp "Frequent Flyer" A Camp (alongdrive)
11. Star Room Boys "I Can't Stand To Be Alone" The World Just Won't Leave You Alone (moxie)
12. Flavor Channel "Incident At Plexicom" Plexicom (Tiny E)
13. Decemberists "Clementine" Castaways & Cutouts (Billzebub)
14. The English Beat "Ranking Full Stop" I Just Can't Stop It (timmyjoe42)
15. The Deadly Snakes "Nick and Chico" Ode To Joy (sketch)
16. Bettie Serveert "The Love-In" Log 22 (Drinky Crow)
17. Elvis Costello "Poison Moon" My Aim Is True (reissue) (elephantstone)
18. John Spencer Blues Explosion "Dynamite Love" Now I Got Worry (Not So Big Ghita)
19. Jason & The Scorchers "I Can't Help Myself" Fervor (contradiction)
20. New York Dolls "Don't Start Me Talkin'" Too Much Too Soon (konstantinl)

A bit of a rough start, but there's some great stuff in there. And it would've been so cool if the mix ended with the Dolls "Human Being" - but just missed that by one digit.
