Tonight: Nuth...

Sat: Walk. Maybe meet with some construction guys to get an estimate on expanding a house we're interested in. Football. Gig.

Sun: Look at house again. Probably put an offer on it if all goes well. Football at a friends house. Vikings/Packers at home. Pass out.

What area/neighborhood are you looking in?

It's in Villa Heights just on the edge of Plaza Midwood. We're putting an offer in today it looks like. Pretty excited about it.

This ended up being less painful than I thought it would be.

Good to hear...there are other things I'd rather be doing on a Sunday afternoon, but hopefully mine won't be bad either.

Was supposed to be:
Friday: Friend's birthday party.
Saturday: Denver Zoo/chill night at home
Sunday: Hang out at home/get pumpkins/carve pumpkins.

Became:
Friday: Friend's birthday party.
Saturday: Help roommate with what we thought was a hangover/go to Denver Zoo/end up spending all night in the hospital since that hangover turned out to be appendicitis, which resulted in the emergency removal of said roommate's appendix.
Sunday: Hang here/homework/visit roommate if possible/get pumpkins/carve them.

he hops around like an 8 year old who needs to pee really bad and won't leave the party but the show was good.
he was entertaining and his band was excellent. especially his drummer. without them it would have been difficult to sit through. he gets up there and has the time of his life.

he was genuine and quite the infectious optimist. i have the immune system of a wall of concrete so i did not catch the feel good but was left pondering why i am the miserable fuck i can be at times. then again i'm 3 days off major dental surgery.

thanks again, stacey.
you sure did smell purty.

...and from the fangirl...

Vanlandingham is right, he's tuned in. I've never seen him on an off night and am not sure he, or his band, ever have them. They're just good and I'll see them any time I have the chance.

I'm not as hardened as ayah yet, so I always walk out of his shows a little infected by his happiness and in awe of his energy.

He played a nice mix of The Historical Conquests of..., Animal Years and So Runs the World Away as well as a couple of new songs and "Kathleen".
