I was reading the predictions on SI.com last night and was surprised shocked that almost all of their writers had the Spurs making the Western Finals. Did I miss something?

Hawks will win 50+ and lose in the second round, every year for the next few until they blow it up again.

I'm really excited for a Magic/Heat series, to be honest. I can't see the Lakers losing the west, but anything's possible. The Thunder will continue to improve, but not enough yet.

No excitement from me...it's just the East is so weak that the addition of Stoudemire make them a playoff team, imo.

I guess. I mean, six of last years eight playoff teams (Orlando, Boston, Atlanta, MKE, Miami & Chicago) are as good if not better than last year and will probably make the playoffs. So that basically leaves two spots for everybody else.

Shiv just pissed off a lot of people who just found out that they have an NBA team3 months ago.

I was actually kind of impressed with them, in that it's already clear that it's Lebron's team (not the injury-prone d-Wade) and his experiment as the point forward will determine how far they will go. Although I hate to say it, they could really use a Zach Randolph.
