went to the record fair yesterday and found

Legends of Guitar!

Guitar Player Magazine and Rhino collaborated to make these compilations I think in the late 80s/early 90s. Currently listening to Country Vol. 1, but I also snagged Vol. 2 and also Jazz Vols. 1 and 2.

Dalen posted it in the metal thread. It's 80s influenced metal with some psychedelic influences. Has some pop moments, pretty enjoyable overall. But the cover is just badass.

yeah i like the cover but it sounds like a hair metal band trying to sound evil. and the singer doesn't have a good voice.
