I like some types of spicy. I love Asian spicy with chillies and Indian spicy with curry. I hate American/Mexican spicy with red and green peppers or jalapeños

I am extremely disappointed in Shera. You can't handle one burger a week?

Toots, you are gonna have to lose the dead weight. I just don't see any way around it.

I think you should add the Ark Burger to this list:

The use of dill in anything is a mistake in my mind. I hate the taste of it unless it's mixed in with the taste of fried pickle chips.

oh yes...this weeks burger. Toots will have to write the official review like he always does, because this week was my first week back on the health kick in an effort to clear out the bread factory/playdough not-so-fun factory that now occupies my body. i made my burger with gluten free cornbread and left out the cheese. i know, i know, super lame. whatev. but anyway, the dill gave it a freshness that was delish. i'm a huge fan of spicy foods, so i loved the jalapeno's and pepperoncini's on this thing. the spicy ham was divine as well, and the burger was a burger. for me, the burger was really good even thought i couldn't have any cheese. at least i slept well and didn't wake up with a belly that felt like it got ripped out and sewn back on my outer-gut!

so there. toots will have the real deal review later.

Shera I may've mentioned it already but the First Mate has the same issues, and the same attitude about it. It sucks to avoid gluten (and limit cow milk products - sheeps milk seems to be a-o-k), but not as much as the way her guts feel afterwards and/or the acne, etc. Beer is the real killer for her. She misses it sometimes. Cider is good, as is wine / scotch etc, but nothing satisfies like a top-shelf beer.

y'seeeeeeeeeeeee the kids they listen to the rap music which gives them the brain damage..with their hippin and the hoppin and the bippin and the boppin so they dont know what all the jazzzz is about

<fuck a fish>

Firehouse. What can I say? F-I-R-E-H-A-E-S-E.

I was damn 'ol dang pleasantly surprised at this doagie because it didn't melt my gums like I thought it would, rather, it put a nice warm tingle on the roof of my tongue, which, interestingly, now has a few inflamed taste buds. Related? I DON'T KNOW.

Now some might say "toots," they say, "maybe you didn't put enough jalapenos on your burger." To which I say "no, dumbfuck. I put a solid nose-watering layer of that camo green atop my provolone, not to mention a Chick tract-sized stack of that italian spice-pork." The secret sauce, I believe, was to smother it with a thick party of havarti, thereby giving my oral cavity a soothing melty balm to counter the sandwich's potent piquance. It's also worth noting that this is yet another project wherein we got the taste ratios right. And damn you dill-haters, I learned that I love this shit. It's like having a pickle on everything.

(More shitty pics to follow folks, I left my real camera at home so these are phone pics.)

A ballin Bolla ta drank. We kill these muh-fugs in like 20 minutes. So good and crisp like a paper mache apple.
Image

Just wanted to show the ass-shaped baking pan we used to mix the meat and seasonings.
Image

The wise countenance of the King, who doth watch o'er our preparation. Praise and glory be.
Image

Shera, sad at her Faux-erhouse. Looks pretty damn tasty to me. Speshly wit dat COANbread mmm.
Image

A horribly compositioned photo of the OG Firehouse, but at least you can see all or most of the ingredients, plus the wonderfully inventive zucchini and onion side Shera cooked up.
Image

Score
Not much of a 4-alarmer so much as a packet of mild sauce. I dug it more than I thought I would. Would eat again.

Image
3 out of 4 Firehouse chicks.

Your rating scores alone make this thread worth following. Good stuff.

Perhaps some milk could help sooth your stomach.
