In 1981, we drove cross country to move from Montgomery, AL to Seattle, WA. We stopped in Salt Lake City, and our dog jumped out of a second story hotel room window, and survived. True Story.

This whole dating women who cook thing I could get used to. Last night's meal consisted of pork tenderloin cooked with a citrus sauce with garlic and hot chilies, potato gratin with russet and sweet potatoes, and a celery salad with walnuts, dates and Parmesan. Dessert was a layered pumpkin cake with sweet cream between the layers and covered with a chocolate ganache.

Not sure how sophisticated it is when I drink all the wine before we eat while I watch her cook.

How long did you live in Seattle? What part of town?

Well, Ft. Lewis. 1981-1984. I turned 4 the week we moved there, and 7 the week we landed in Germany.

I would have never watched this without you commenting on it. He's either on something, the neighborhood's "special" resident, or both.

The dive onto the last car might be the funniest thing I've seen this year.

Me, Oderus Urungus from Gwar, and an ax. Weekends like this past one (Fun Fun Fun Festival) make my job alright.

I'm super disappointed that The Fayette Co. Library Flasher isn't anyone we know.

Most awesome instances of accidental racism ever

These are pretty fucking funny. I don't know why, but the Barney one made me laugh the hardest.

The kKk one is in a Lands End store. I used to have to restock the NQP section and I always found good monogrammed shit in there, including my UGA dress shirt.

This has been bopping around for a little while, but its hilarious. Ed Schrader does a pretty spot on Bowie imitation, and here he does a day in the life of Bowie and his encounter with his neighbor and baking a pie.

http://edschrader.podomatic.com/player/web/2010-04-22T04_15_41-07_00

I should have probably should have posted this in the Bowie thread.
