http://thermajock.com

Quote:
The idea for ThermaJock™ was conceived by Christina and Tom, two Chicago-area endurance athletes.

By day, Christina and Tom worked side by side in a typical office environment. One winter morning while settling in for another day, they took a few minutes for some daily chitchat. Tom mentioned his previous night’s run and how, because of the cold weather, he had to put a sock on "it" to avoid pain and discomfort during his workout.

At that moment, the proverbial light bulb went off in Christina's head, "Could this be a widespread, unmet need for male athletes?" She had heard the exact same complaint from other male friends who were avid runners. Apparently, guys don't talk much about this issue because Tom thought he was the only one. Christina asked Tom, “Could there be something to this?” In that moment, ThermaJock was born. The two quickly began in-depth market research, including the real dangers of frostbite that men face when exposed to cold weather for various periods of time.

Tom came up with a prototype and quickly began to test it while running, walking the dog, or hanging out in his house. After creating the initial design, Christina and Tom began working with local garment designers and manufacturers to refine and perfect the prototype and began asking local athletes to test it. After sorting through piles of valuable feedback, the final design was established.

“This has truly been an exciting endeavor. I’m really proud of this product.” – Christina

“Knowing we’re finally providing men with the coverage and protection they need has been a fulfilling experience.” – Tom

FOLD UP THE BIG TOP

After 33 years.…over 4500 live shows….and a dozen albums.…legendary New Orleans rockers The Radiators are finally calling it quits. The band has officially decided to break up in mid-June following their final tour which will include one last New Years’ Eve run, a MOMs Ball and also headlining their final appearance at The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The band will honor all dates already on their schedule and are planning to add as many shows as possible before ending their storied 33 year career. The guys want to whole-heartedly thank their long time fans for making this ride as amazing as it has been. They truly feel that their fans are the best and most dedicated in the world and have kept their traveling circus alive. Individual band members will announce their plans in the near future.

... eh. 33rd most common word in english, and the highest one on the list that's often used as a one-word sentence. I've also never noticed how often he says "the."

I thought this was kind of cool. I picked up a handful of promo swag at Dimples the other day, and one of the discs was a single from Anberlin (I know, I know). Here's the front:
Image

Turn it over and it has a side A and a side B, digital & analog. What?
Image

Take the disc out, come to find out it's a CD on one side (with a video), and an actual record on the other! :rawk:

They give you a little foam insert so you can either play it on a TT or in your CD player.

Only one episode left of Freaks and Geeks before my wife and I have gotten through the entire (single-season) run of the series.
She'll probably be so bummed that she'll cry. I'll be bummed too.
Oh, and something cute: she ALWAYS laughs out loud when Haverchuck (Martin Starr) rolls his eyes after he takes his picture. Always.

She's like a much hotter version of the flute-pussy chick from American Pie that's on How I Met Your Cumdumpster.

Also, nice rack.

The acting in that show was top notch, but most days I think Starr did the best job of all.

So what kind of cards is she trying to get back? What's going on exactly?

I can't really make any sense of this thing.

she signed for a certified letter for her husband and then decided she didn't want it. the dude could've just deleted it from the scanner and taken it back. my sister works in the post office where this happened.
