So, who's got some good shows on deck for the holiday season (either playing or attending)? Let's hear about 'em.

I know a bunch of the Chicago crew are headed to one or more Pixies shows this week.

I'm heading down to see my brother in Arizona for Thanksgiving and I'll be arriving just in time to catch Wilco and Calexico play together. That should be a blast.

I'm going to be up in Minneapolis over Christmas so I hope to find a couple good shows to see while I'm there. Unfortunately, the venerable First Avenue closed its doors recently. I always enjoy hittin Lee's Liquor Lounge for some beer and music though.

I went on a rockstar binge the past few weeks.

10/23- Pixies
10/28- Secret Machines/Interpol
10/30- Mr. Airplane Man
11/5- Ted Leo
11/6- ATP, buncha bands
11/7- ATP, buncha bands
11/9- Autolux

7 shows in the course of 2 1/2 wks.... not bad! I was going to check out Wolf Eyes & Comets on Fire tonight, but I forgot it's my bosses' birthday today so I have to go out w/the co-workers tonight.

And most likely:
11/14- The Warlocks
11/19- Blonde Redhead
12/11- Imperial Teen
12/16- Moving Units
12/17- Earlimart

But I am definitely planning on these:
12/7- Arcade Fire
12/9- Muse

And hopefully I'll be able to catch some shows when I'm up in Seattle/Portland/Vancouver.
