He's a big Beethoven fan, so it will be interesting to see how he likes the pomp and formality of a performance at Symphony Center.

yeah, mine too. I felt like such a hillbilly when I rolled my station wagon, packed to the gills with luggage and Christmas crap and fast food debris, up to the hotel. I had been stuck in Manhattan traffic for so long that I didn't even try to park it, I just pulled in perpendicular to the curb, turned to this multi-lingual Russian valet in a fur-trimmed coat who was probably some kind of doctor in his home country, threw him the keys and said "hey man, I'm just...I'm sorry. I don't know what to do". Although I was wearing a suit, so maybe he gave me some slack, because he said "not at all sir, that's perfect" and opened the door for my wife.

hope this works- here's a picture of my daughter picking her nose in their tiny bathrobe-

Older I get the more appreciation I have and willingness to pay for what can best be termed "Yo, take care of this so I don't have to" services. Worth it just about every time, especially when the service is 5-star/gangster level like in your valet experience.

Also, your daughter made me chuckle in a quiet office. Awesome.

Yeah I've been to Dachau, and that just kinda freaked me out. Literally the saddest, most serious, awful place on earth, pretty much.

Went to a pretty legit Moroccan restaurant last night.

Place went the whole nine; shoes off, sat on cushions on the floor, ate with my fingers, and had belly dancers including THE SWORD OF FIRE.

A bit too pricey but overall it was a pretty cool experience. Some tables were even smoking out of hookahs.

Great time at the Symphony last night. Ethan is an absolute doll -- when he's not fighting with his brother!

Place called Imperial Fez in Atlanta.

The vibe was certainly cool with middle eastern music, tapestries on the walls, oriental rugs all over the floor. Real communal vibe.

I commented to FemDerris that I felt like a Saudi Arabian oil king in an opium den waiting on the white whores to be brought out to "entertain" us.

Jebus. This is JUST the type of place you should be frequenting - Ol Curly Bill Derris.

Man I've been hearing about Imperial Fez even since I first moved here, but I still haven't been. Probably the next place I should take my wife when we next have a chance to really go out.
