His subject is "To post this on a German server." As in "That act would be prosecuted." It just sounds weird because we don't typically structure sentences that way.

I may have openly ruined Thanksgiving by buying my dad this early Christmas present

Same with my mom. I've already told her NO in no uncertain terms. Had the same conversation with my dad over Palin's "Going Rogue" last Christmas.

Clearly, my folks look at me and think they failed as parents.

I hate to wax nostalgic, but it just sort of dawned on me that the decade is about over.

no way I'll ever have a decade with as much insanity, good times, and change. marriage, cross country move back home, loss of a father, new job, law school, another new job, 2 kids, several incredible trips, bought 2 houses, sold one house. so the rest of the my life will basically be just playing this hand out as time slowly slips away?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

Yeah, I've had more change in 2 years than I have in most of my life -- and I've moved 20 times.

Just imagine what would have happened had you not wasted all those hours on Obner.

See, I live by the thinking that the decade ended 12/31/2009 and we are already balls deep in a fine new decade. The '10's: Sharia Law or Bust.

But however, you measure, it was one motherfucker of a decade.

Technically, you are correct, but white people can only think in terms of 10s - your math might be right, and your sentiment totally is.

Still, bookending my last 10 years with the Bush election and this one is a fucking whip saw.
