I'll be in your town from June through August, doing research for the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Hah-vahd. Hopefully I'll get to finally meet the erstwhile Shmoo as well as check out the Pills and Plans I've heard so much about.

Love,
LeHaq

I have literally no idea. I think I may have to move sometime in May because of the awkward circumstances of my current sublet, my early-June vacation and the abrupt beginning of my internship thereafter.

Any suggestions?

nothing comes immediately to mind amongst my group of friends.

craigslist should have a ton of listings for summer sublets and whatnot.

both velouria and i used this site to get sublets here a few years ago: http://www.thesublet.com

will you have a car?

I will not. Is Harvard Law accessible by public transit?

Thanks for the tips.

oh totally. it's only a few blocks up mass ave. from the red line harvard sq. stop.

i doubt you'd need a car - in fact, i only ask, because it can be difficult to get parking permits for cambridge, somerville, and allston/brighton if you're only subletting. those towns (+ watertown) are the most convenient for getting to harvard sq using the T/bus alone.

So you won't be back in Chicago after all? Bummer. My day just worsened slightly.

I would expect you could find something easily on craigslist but Havard also has great listings on its own. I would look in Cambridge and Somerville and would think having a car would just be a hassle. I haven't had one in years...

Yeah, I tried to call you last night with the news. But it DOES mean you can visit Boston. Because you have so much money.

Nobody wants to come to Sunset Park for a kegger, but I'm sure booze can be had somewhere. What're you in for?

Just north of Bay Ridge, by the Army Terminal. R Train.

Near Sunset Park: Scruffy Murphy's on 4th ave & 69th (?). If Sean or John are still there, give 'em a big "Hi!" from me, and play "Hurricane" on the juke.

Also, why don't they believe in the buy-back out here in Chicago? Cheap bastids.

I tried to call you back but figured your phone must have just accidentally dialed me since there was no message.

It would be sweet to get out to Boston. Maybe I can hit Yankee Stadium AND Fenway this year.... We'll see how the funds are doing in a couple of months.

Never been, but Don Hill's is described by Citysearch as "A gay-straight club that rocks," so how can you go wrong?

What are the details of the show?

a gay-straight club that rocks? well i never.

honestly, i'm a little sketchy on the details. i think we go on sometime around 11, followed by one of those Go bands, Go Team or Go Station or Go Killers, i dunno.

frankly, i would love to play the show and just hang out with people somewhere else. we have a big show in boston sunday night, so i'll be attempting sobriety again.
