Because I haven't heard quite enough albums to give what I think is a fair ranking, I will just do it like this:

REALLY LIKED
Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
Best Coast - Crazy For You
Cleaners From Venus - English Electric
Ty Segall - Melted
Jenny and Johnny - I'm Having Fun Now
Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti - Before Today

LIKED WELL-ENOUGH
Os Mutantes - Haih Ou Amortecedor
Damian Marley & Nas - Distant Relatives
Jarvis Humby - Assume the Position, It's Jarvis Humby
Ha Ha Tonka - Novel Sounds of the Nouveau South

MEH
Erykah Badu - New Amerykah Part Two
Atlas Sound - Bedroom Databank (vol. 1)
Atlas Sound - Bedroom Databank (vol. 4)

NEED TO HEAR MORE (only just recently acquired these)
The Brokedowns - Species Bender
Beach House - Teen Dream
The Arcade Fire - The Suburbs

So Plastic Beach is your #1 Todd?

GREAT album. Can't wait for the new album being released for free on Christmas day!

Naw.
As long as I'm not being forced to rank them for a Shmoo Poll this year -- those are just all albums that I "really liked" -- not in any particular order. Not sure that I'd be able to rank them this year, as there was too much good stuff that I've heard later on in the year that might knock one of those off.
But yeah, Gorillaz is a really good, fun album. I'm a pretty huge Albarn fan.

Have you checked out any other Ty segall, Todd?

I need to check out The Cleaner From Venus. Not too keen on the Jenny & Johnny although I didn't spend much time with it.

I remember you liking King Khan a lot as well. I'm sure you'd enjoy the Tandoori Knights and The Ding Dongs.

If you like Robyn Hitchcock, you should find something to like about The Cleaners.
I do like the King Khan, but didn't put it on my list, as the copyright says 2009. Was it 2010? If so, it's among my tops.

And, I will definitely check out more Ty, as well as Tandoori Knights and Ding Dongs. Thanks for the tip!

Nah, the Tandoori Knights are King Khan & Bloodshot Bill. The Ding Dongs are Mark Sultan & Bloodshot Bill.

I'm pretty sure that Ha Ha Tonka was on my *2009* best-of list, Todd.

Oops!
there were a couple of 2010 releases that I forgot to mention. Here there be EDITS to the original:

Tom Zé - Estuando a Bossa (released in 2009, but in the US in 2010)
Best Coast - Crazy For You

Jenny and Johnny - I'm Having Fun Now
Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti - Before Today
The Apples in Stereo - Travellers in Space and Time

LIKED WELL-ENOUGH
Os Mutantes - Haih Ou Amortecedor
Damian Marley & Nas - Distant Relatives
Roky Erickson & Okkervil River - TrueLove Cast Out All Evil
Jarvis Humby - Assume the Position, It's Jarvis Humby

That Apples record has grown on me a lot throughout the year. That Roky record hit me hard at first and I still love it when I listen to it. But there are no songs that are really staying with me, once the last song has finished playing.

As to the Ha Ha Tonka: I thought that it was a 2010 release. Thanks for correcting me, Fryx.

Looks like that Cee-Lo Green album is gonna make my top 10.
So much damn fun.

Also, digging the Kelley Stoltz album.
