I'm playing the "6th Annual Alex Chilton Birthday Bash" on 12/28.
It's at the Empty Bottle. I go on first, around 7:30.

It's the first one since his death earlier this year and I'm trying to learn new songs now from both Bg Star and the Box Tops.
These are the songs that I'll be playing (if I can learn them all, that is):

• The Ballad of El Goodo
• Thank You Friends
• The Letter
• Downs

That last one I think I can have a lot of fun with. The others, I hope I just don't screw up too much.

You should play Bangkok.

It's no different now - people trying to outdo ! each other in extremes. There are people who like X, and there are people who say X are wimps; they like Black Flag.
